That's right. You know you want to play a game within a game. Come on. Let it out. Give in to the dark urges that got you interested in finding out what this area was about. Try it. I won't tell anyone. It will be our little secret...
In all honestly, people play World of Warcraft. A lot. There are times where we just sit there, "playing," as we wait for a raid to start up, our flight path finish up, or for a scrub priest to resurrect you because they were too busy being the tank during that last boss battle in [insert instance name here], where the entire raid wiped. Yeah, you know who I'm talking about. Don't blame the priest though. I'm sure the "real" tank was doing their job ...
Anyway, there are times where you just aren't doing anything, and that is where these games come in. Puzzle games are pretty popular for their single player attributes, so most of the minigames found here will be just that: puzzle games. There are some oddballs out there though, such as the Labyrinth minigame, which is just a randomly generated 3D maze that you can explore. I liked it and thought it would be cool to make in WOW. That, and the 3D engine (albeit very basic) could be expanded upon for other 3D minigames I might make.
Another popular thing within guilds would be card game addons. There are poker addons already available, so I didn't see the need to make another one. Those games aren't found here though, so you'll need to look elsewhere. Sorry, but I tend to host mostly stuff that I make.
As of June of 2008, none of my games offer multiplayer support. This will change in the future once I start working on my game projects again and get some new ideas out there.
So, check out the games on the navigation bar and give 'em a whirl. I'm sure they will help to kill those 3-5 minutes you might need to wait. Maybe longer if your raid slotting is taking too long and people just can't possibly show up on time because, you know, they are the most important part of the raid and we'll wait for them ...
