LunarSphere version 1.05 is now live!
Written by Moongaze

It's been four months since the last release of LunarSphere. During that time, not much has really broken. With WOW 3.2, template usage broke as well as the mount recognition, due to the mount levels being dropped and speeds increased. This version fixes those issues, adds a few new things (the ability to hide the new totem bar, as well as the minimap, if you wanted), as well as some other bug fixes. The change log can be found inside the zip file, as well as in the forums on this website, in the LunarSphere catagory. Without further explaination, go and grab the latest version on the downloads page, the link at the top of this page, or ... the link below this text!

I'm back!

Alright! I'm no longer AFK. I just finished moving to Seattle, WA. for a job relocation, and now that I'm all settled in again, I will get back to work on my projects. First up: LunarSphere. With the 3.2 patch, some parts of LunarSphere broke, such as the template feature. This issue has been isolated and fixed. I plan to fix up a few more issues that were mentioned on the LunarSphere forums, and then release LunarSphere 1.05 by the middle of this week. Thanks for all your support and patience as I work out these issues for everyone.

My other project is completed: Peggle Addon for WOW

Hey everyone! If you were here a few months ago and following the fact that from January until today, I've pretty much not touched LunarSphere except for emergency updates because of a secret project I was working on, well ... that project is now finished and I can talk about it.

No, it wasn't LunarSphere 2 (lol, 4 months to make another LS? No no no... the first took two YEARS)

No, it wasn't another standard interface addon (like unit frames or the fabled LunarSkin)

No, it wasn't something outside of WOW.

... I wrote the code for the Peggle mini-game addon for World of Warcraft . The Peggle addon was released today and has been blowing up in online articles, blogs, news, and more. It is a really cool game and I tried hard to capture the feeling of Peggle and let it run within World of Warcraft. It is a game, yes. And it is a game INSIDE a game (WoW). Some of you might have seen the Bejeweled addon that I wrote for PopCap that runs within WoW a few month back. Some of you might have hated me for ruining your raids with AFK people playing Bejeweled (haha!), and now you can have it even worse with Peggle. So yeah, there you have it. Peggle is finished, it's released, and now I can start working on LunarSphere some more. I'll be taking a break for about a week before I start, though. It's been a long 4 months and I need to finish some school stuff and relax, haha.

If you played Bejeweled and thought it was pretty awesome in WOW, or like Peggle, I TOTALLY recommend grabbing the Peggle addon. :D You can grab it at curse or wowinterface, or from PopCap's website at the following link:

You can also find the Bejeweled addon at the above sites as well. Enjoy!

On Vacation (Japan), be back late July

So, I know this is short notice ... but I'm going to be gone for a little bit. I will be enjoying my honeymoon and traveling to Japan starting late tonight and will be back July 8th. On top of preparing LunarSphere for public release earlier this year, working on the Peggle addon, finishing school, getting my career started and preparing to move to a new state ... I was also planning a wedding. Surprise! Haha. Sooo, I'll be back soon!

LunarSphere version 1.04 is now live!

Hey everyone! Here's another emergency patch for LunarSphere to address issues with the speech system inside LunarSphere. With the 3.1 patch, Blizzard decided to removed the randomseed() function which would ensure that random numbers were more random. It's said that WOW already seeds the random number generator upon loading, but I was paranoid and used it anyway. Now, LunarSphere doesn't use it anymore and you may now have your speeches back! So, without further delay, go grab yourself the new version LunarSphere! You can do so via the link at the very top of this site, the download page on the left side of the page, or this handy link below:
