LunarSphere version 1.10 is now live!

Finally, after well over a month of coding, testing, and frustration at some issues taking longer to fix than I would like, here it is, version 1.10 of LunarSphere! This is the official WOW 4.0 compatible version of LunarSphere and, while I wish everything was perfect, some things are just needing to be updated. Namely templates and speeches.

It is important to know that if a spell that you had previously on LunarSphere is not working, you will need to reassign it, as with the 4.0 changes, some spells have been renamed, removed, or changed and need to be updated within your button settings for LunarSphere. Also, templates are very much out-of-date, and will be remade when Cataclysm hits.

Several bugs from the 1.09 version have been wrapped up, new features have been added, and some things have been changed, such as rogues now having access to the Shadow Dance stance in their stance menu for the buttons.

Without further explaination, go and grab the latest version on the downloads page, the link at the top of this page, or ... the link below this text!

LunarSphere and the 4.0 Patch

LunarSphere is currently not compatible with WOW 4.0. I am aware of this issue and I am still working on converting the code over to work with the 4.0 patch.

Sorry for the delay, but I want to make sure all features still work, and right now, some features require massive rewrites that I'm currently underway with. While I could release the version I have right now so people will have a version of LS that works, button wise, a lot of the button types (mounts, menu button), UI hiding features, and other areas do not work and I would hate to release a half-working LS just so people could use some of it. That's just not my style.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope to have a working LunarSphere for you all soon!

LunarSphere version 1.08 is now live!

Here's an emergency patch for LunarSphere. Version 1.07 had an error with its April Fools joke code and, as such, created REAL errors which were NOT INTENDED! I am sorry for my gross mistake and have removed the offending code so that LunarSphere can work exactly the way it did prior to April 1st.

Here it is, version 1.09 of LunarSphere! This version would have been 1.08, had the emergency patch for LunarSphere not happened. Now, some of the features and bug fixes I worked on for the past few months can finally be used. Support for Dual Spec template swapping now exists, bag button types now act like real bags (you can swap them out, drop items into them from the button), and some other things.

April 1st / April Fools Error
Written by Moongaze

To all those who have loaded up LunarSphere today, April 1st, 2010 ... I am sorry. For the past three years, there has been an April Fools joke within LunarSphere that was there for fun and games. Nothing more. It would display a totally fake error message (it didn't even have the proper error code text like a real error) and then it would say "just kidding" after a few seconds. This year, however, the code is broken. So broken, in fact, that it has affected everyone and people are really frustrated.

I am sorry that I didn't test this year's code for the April Fools joke a month in advance, like I normally do. This oversight has caused way more trouble than it's worth.

LunarSphere's joke was NEVER meant to break LS, or make you wipe your variables, or re-download all your addons so you can fix the problem. This was an oversight on my end and I am truly sorry for the trouble caused. This is unacceptable by my standards and I'm really upset with myself over this, and you should be too.

I will be releasing a new build very soon to fix this issue. In the mean time, simply disable LunarSphere.

There will be some that are totally angry at this situation and will get rid of LunarSphere. That's fine, and I'm sorry to see you go, but I understand. This mistake is something that shouldn't have happened and I will need to work on regaining everyone's trust once again.

To those that stick with LunarSphere, thank you. Please know that this was never actually intended to happen in the way it does. It's the same code from three years ago and it has never broke during that time. It will never break in the future, as it will be REMOVED.

Once again, I am sorry for this whole situation.
